Boeing Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for 747-100, -200, and -300 Series Airplanes

Boeing is proposing a new airworthiness directive to replace faulty switches on certain 747 models, following reports of fires caused by internal switch failures, in an effort to prevent short circuits and subsequent fires on board the aircraft.
