Proposed Establishment of Class E Airspace; Hazard, KY

This notice proposes to establish Class E airspace at Hazard, KY. A VOR/DME RWY 14 and a GPS RWY 14 Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP's) have been developed for Wendell H. Ford Airport. Controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface (AGL) is needed to accommodate these SIAP's and for instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at Wendell H. Ford Airport. The operating status of the airport will change from VFR to include IFR operations concurrent with publication of this SIAP.
