US Coast Guard Announces Approval of Atlantic Protected Living Marine Resource Initiative

The US Coast Guard has approved a Record of Decision for the Atlantic Protected Living Marine Resource Initiative, following a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) published in 1996, and will implement the preferred alternative, which includes mitigation and monitoring measures, as the environmentally preferred option.
