US Forest Service Streamlines Timber Sale Contract Regulations to Prevent Environmental Damage

The US Forest Service has combined two similar rules into one streamlined regulation to simplify the process of modifying timber sale contracts, in response to the President's Regulatory Reinvention Initiative, and to prevent environmental damage or conform to forest plans.
