DOE Releases Final Environmental Impact Statement for Pantex Plant Operations

The Department of Energy has made the Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Continued Operation of the Pantex Plant and Associated Storage of Nuclear Weapon Components available, proposing to continue nuclear operations at the plant near Amarillo, Texas, with upgrades and increased plutonium storage capacity.
