The US government is revising a 1995 Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a road reconstruction project in the Kootenai National Forest, Montana. The project aims to grant an initial easement to the landowner and widen the road to 24 feet, with the EIS expected to be filed in the spring of 1997.
