FDA Approves Propofol Injection for Dogs as Anesthetic

The FDA is amending its animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application filed by Mallinckrodt Veterinary, Inc. for the intravenous use of propofol injection in dogs as an anesthetic.
