BLM Receives Request to Amend Medicine Lodge Resource Management Plan for Elgin-Hamer Road

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has received a request from Fremont and Jefferson County Commissioners to amend the Medicine Lodge Resource Management Plan to extend the seasonal closure of the Elgin-Hamer Road, allowing it to remain open during winter with additional measures to protect wintering elk.
