Federal Acquisition Regulation to Allow Lobbying Costs for Local Legislation

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed to an interim rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation, allowing contractors to offset lobbying costs related to local legislation that reduces contract costs or avoids material impairment of their authority.
