NMFS Proposes Changes to Atlantic Shark Fisheries Regulations

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is proposing changes to the regulations governing the Atlantic shark fisheries, including reducing commercial quotas and recreational bag limits, establishing a quota for small coastal sharks, and prohibiting directed commercial fishing for certain species of sharks.
