EPA Proposes Updates to National Priorities List for Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Sites

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed adding 5 new sites to the National Priorities List (NPL) and withdrawing the proposal of one site, as required by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA). The NPL guides the EPA in identifying sites that warrant further investigation to assess public health and environmental risks.
