FDA Approves New Ivermectin Bolus for Cattle Treatment
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) submitted by Merck Research Laboratories. This approval allows for the use of an ivermectin-containing, sustained-release bolus in cattle for treating and controlling internal and external parasitic infections for approximately 135 days during the grazing season.
