NIH Seeks Public Comment on Exclusive License for Intra-Urethral Prosthetic Devices
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking public comment on a prospective exclusive license to practice certain medical device inventions, including an intra-urethral prosthetic sphincter valve and intra-urethral valve, for use in treating urinary dysfunction. The license, which would be royalty-bearing, must comply with federal regulations and can be revoked if NIH receives sufficient evidence within 60 days.
