Technical Assistance for Public Participation in Defense Environmental Restoration Activities

The Department of Defense is proposing new regulations to provide technical assistance to local community members participating in the review and comment process for environmental restoration activities at military installations. This assistance is mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act of 1996.
