Evaluation of Coastal Zone Management Programs and National Estuarine Research Reserves

The NOAA Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) plans to assess the effectiveness of the Alabama, American Samoa, and Louisiana Coastal Zone Management Programs and the Apalachicola (FL) National Estuarine Research Reserve Program, as mandated by the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972. The evaluations will involve on-site visits, public input, and consultations with federal, state, and local agencies, and will be conducted in accordance with the CZMA.
