EPA Authorizes California to Enforce Nonroad Engine and Vehicle Pollution Control Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has given California the authority to implement regulations for exhaust emission standards and testing procedures for nonroad recreational vehicles and engines, including motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, and specialty vehicles, in accordance with the Clean Air Act.
