Solicitation of New Safe Harbors and Modifications to Existing Safe Harbors

The US Department of Health and Human Services is seeking proposals to create new safe harbor provisions under the Medicare and State health care programs' anti-kickback statute, as well as modify existing ones, and develop new Office of Inspector General (OIG) Special Fraud Alerts, in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
