USDA Finalizes 1997 Marketing Quotas and Price Support Levels for Tobacco
The US Department of Agriculture has finalized the national marketing quotas and price support levels for the 1997 tobacco crop, as announced on February 27, 1997, to adjust production levels and reflect supply and demand conditions, according to the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938 and the Agricultural Act of 1949.
