Rio Algom Seeks U.S. NRC Approval for Smith Ranch Uranium Project License Renewal

Rio Algom Mining Corp. has submitted a request to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for the renewal of its license SUA-1548 for the Smith Ranch Uranium Project, with the option for a public hearing, following a letter dated February 12, 1997.
