Massachusetts Discontinues Nuclear Regulatory Authority

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has signed an agreement with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to discontinue certain regulatory authority, allowing for exemptions from Commission requirements for specific individuals and entities. The agreement, published in the Federal Register, follows Section 274 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
