Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Fee Schedules to Implement 100% Fee Recovery for FY 1997

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is revising its fee schedules to comply with the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (OBRA-90), which requires the NRC to recover 100% of its budget authority in Fiscal Year (FY) 1997, excluding certain costs related to the commercial vitrification of waste at the Department of Energy's Hanford site.
