Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Reassume Regulatory Authority in New Mexico

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will regain control over sealed source and device evaluations and approvals in New Mexico, effective January 1, 1998, following a request from the state's governor to transfer this authority.
