NHTSA Publishes Reports on Motor Vehicle Theft Law Enforcement Act of 1984

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has published three reports on motor vehicle theft, covering the years 1989, 1990, and 1991, in compliance with Section 612 of the Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act (MVICSA). The reports provide information on theft and recovery of vehicles, rating rules, and insurer actions to deter thefts.
