FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 727 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) to limit the payload on Boeing Model 727 series airplanes that have been converted to cargo configuration, due to concerns over the structural integrity of the main cargo deck. The proposed AD aims to prevent the floor structure from failing, which could lead to loss of the airplane.
