Piaggio Issues Airworthiness Directive for P-180 Airplanes to Address Fatigue Cracks

The Industrie Aeronautiche e Meccaniche Rinaldo Piaggio S.p.A. has issued an airworthiness directive to inspect Model P-180 airplanes for cracks around the rudder's vertical pin and torque tube bottom flange, and to modify the affected parts to prevent potential loss of rudder control.
