Boeing Issues Airworthiness Directive for 737-100 and -200 Series Airplanes

Boeing has issued an airworthiness directive requiring the replacement of certain wheel halves on its 737-100 and -200 series airplanes to prevent potential failures of the wheel flanges, which could lead to damage to the hydraulics systems, jammed flight controls, and loss of electrical power.
