SocataGroupe Aerospatiale Model TBM 700 Airplanes Must Remove Main Landing Gear Doors Due to Safety Concerns

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued an airworthiness directive requiring Socata Model TBM 700 airplanes to remove the main landing gear doors and locking control mechanism to prevent loss of control during landing operations due to corroded hinges.
