Teledyne Continental Motors Issues Airworthiness Directive for E-165, E-185, E-225, O-470 and IO-470 Series Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Teledyne Continental Motors E-165, E-185, E-225, O-470 and IO-470 series reciprocating engines, aimed at preventing extreme side loading of the piston and engine failure, following the release of a new Critical Service Bulletin (CSB) revision.
