Pratt & Whitney JT8D-200 Series Turbofan Engines: Airworthiness Directive Correction

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is correcting an error in Airworthiness Directive (AD) 97-19-13, which applies to Pratt & Whitney (PW) JT8D-200 series turbofan engines, published in the Federal Register on September 19, 1997. The correction addresses incorrect paragraph references to Accomplishment Instructions of PW Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) No. 5944, Revision 3, dated December 16, 1994.
