FAA Clarifies Airworthiness Directive for Luscombe Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has clarified the procedures for compliance with airworthiness directive (AD) 96-24-17, which affects Don Luscombe Aviation History Foundation Models 8, 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D, 8E, 8F, T-8F airplanes, to address concerns over wing spar failure due to intergranular corrosion.
