U.S. Department of Commerce to Expand BE-20 Benchmark Survey to Include Additional Services Transactions

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) will expand the BE-20 Benchmark Survey of Selected Services Transactions with Unaffiliated Foreign Persons to cover additional types of services, starting from the next survey in 1996, in an effort to support U.S. trade policy initiatives and compile the U.S. balance of payments and national income and product accounts.
