Federal Acquisition Regulation to Update Treatment of Gains and Losses from Business Mergers

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council propose amendments to the Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement the Cost Accounting Standards Board's final rule on handling gains and losses from business mergers, exempt from Office of Management and Budget review and not a major rule.
