Government Agencies Propose Changes to Federal Acquisition Regulation to Include Increased Taxes on Divested Segments

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to add increased taxes resulting from a contractor's sale of a segment to the list of unallowable costs in the cost principle, exempting this regulatory action from Office of Management and Budget review.
