Deadline Approaching for GSP Petition Submissions

The U.S. government is seeking public comments on the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) until July 2, 1997, at 5:00 p.m. The GSP is a trade program that allows the U.S. to impose tariffs on certain foreign goods. The deadline for submitting petitions for the 1997 Annual GSP Product Review is approaching.
