U.S. Trade Representative Determines Canadian Practices Violate Trade Agreements

The U.S. Trade Representative has determined that Canada's restrictions on importing certain periodicals into the country and discriminatory treatment of imported periodicals violate the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1994, following a report by a World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute settlement panel.
