Simplification of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States

The U.S. Commission has launched an investigation, No. 332-388, into simplifying the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, following a letter from the Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means in the U.S. House of Representatives. The goal of the investigation is to propose changes to the HTS to make it more user-friendly and transparent.
