U.S. Telecommunications Commission Sets Enforcement Date for Adult Video Scrambling Rule

The U.S. Telecommunications Commission has set May 18, 1997, as the enforcement date for a rule requiring the scrambling of sexually explicit adult video service programming, following an amendment to the Communications Act by the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
