FCC Adopts Rules for 800 MHz SMR Spectrum Allocation

The Federal Communications Commission has finalized rules for the upper 200 channels of the 800 MHz Specialized Mobile Radio (SMR) band, following comments and petitions received in response to a proposed rulemaking, and has also addressed petitions for reconsideration of additional rules for the remaining 800 MHz SMR spectrum and General Category channels.
