Accounting Safeguards Under the Telecommunications Act of 1996 to Take Effect on August 12, 1997

The Accounting Safeguards Order's requirements and regulations, including changes to rules on affiliate transactions, will go into effect on August 12, 1997, following publication in the Federal Register on January 21, 1997, and subsequent corrections on March 6, 1997.
