Federal Communications Commission Approves Access Charge Reform Rules, Corrects Previous Summaries

The Federal Communications Commission has approved the updated rules for access charge reform, which includes price cap performance review for local exchange carriers, transport rate structure and pricing, and usage of the public switched network by information service and internet access providers. The updated rules correct previous summaries published in the Federal Register in 1997.
