FCC Sets Minimum Opening Bids for 800 MHz SMR License Auction

The Federal Communications Commission has established minimum opening bid requirements for the auction of 525 licenses in the upper 10 MHz of the 800 MHz Specialized Mobile Radio Service, set to begin on October 28, 1997, as part of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997.
