CFTC Proposes Changes to Financial Reporting Requirements for FCMs and IBs

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is proposing changes to its Rule 1.10, which governs financial reporting requirements for futures commission merchants (FCMs) and introducing brokers (IBs). The proposed rule amendments would require FCMs and IBs to file financial reports within 17 business days of the end of a reporting period, such as a month, quarter, or six-month period, and certified financial reports within 60 calendar days of the fiscal year end.
