FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Use in Animal Feeds, Lasalocid

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to reflect the approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc. for the use of lasalocid in free-choice, liquid Type C animal feed, allowing for the removal of the international feed number (IFN) for this ingredient.
