FDA Expands Delegation of Authority to Assistant Secretary for Health

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its regulations to grant the Assistant Secretary for Health more authority, excluding the power to submit reports to Congress, under the Safe Medical Devices Act of 1990.
