FDA Approves QLT Phototherapeutics' Surgical Lasers and Dye Modules

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved QLT Phototherapeutics' premarket applications for its surgical lasers and dye modules, which will be used in conjunction with the drug PHOTOFRIN, following a review by the Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee.
