FDA to Hold Public Hearing on Benzodiazepines and Related Substances

The FDA, in collaboration with other federal agencies, will host a public hearing to gather evidence on the abuse potential of benzodiazepines and related compounds, with the goal of developing criteria for scheduling these substances under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA).
