FDA Approves Tylosin for Medicated Drinking Water in Chickens, Turkeys, and Swine

The FDA is amending its animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application filed by Elanco Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly and Co., for use of tylosin in medicated drinking water to control and/or treat infections sensitive to tylosin in chickens, turkeys, and swine.
