FDA Approves New Antioxidant for Food-Contact Plastics
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to allow the safe use of a specific chemical, 2,4-dimethyl-6-(1-methylpentadecyl)phenol, in certain food-contact plastics, following a petition from Ciba-Geigy Corp.
