FDA Approves Use of Selenium as Animal Feed Additive

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is adopting the approved use of selenium as a food additive in animal feeds without change, following provisions from the Agriculture, Rural Development, FDA, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 1994 and the Federal Crop Insurance Reform and Department of Agriculture Reorganization Act of 1994.
