FDA Proposes Changes to Over-the-Counter Laxative Drug Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to reclassify certain laxative ingredients and add them to a list of nonmonograph active ingredients for over-the-counter (OTC) laxative drug products, following a review of safety data.
